The individual should be comfortable understanding problems across applications, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, security, access, and reporting, while partnering with specialist teams where deeper expertise is required.\nYour Responsibilities:\nOperations Excellence & IT Operations\nAct as a primary technology contact for assigned EKS applications, platforms, and services.\n\nProvide day-to-day technical oversight and operational support across EKS technology environments.\n\nAdminister and govern technology services including infrastructure, security groups, GitHub teams, Power BI workspaces, support groups, and related access.\n\nReview and approve appropriate EKStechnology, access, and support requests.\n\nManage and coordinate ITSM processes including Incidents, Changes, and Problems.\n\nIdentifyrecurring operational issues and drive improvements to reliability, efficiency, and user experience.\n\nTechnical Problem Resolution & Engineering Support\nInvestigate and help resolve complex technical issues across applications, cloud platforms, databases, analytics, and enterprise technology services.\n\nAct as a technical problem-solving partner for EKS Business Operations, Analytics, Engineering teams, and vendors.\n\nTroubleshoot issues involving technologies such as Azure, SQL, Power BI, Databricks, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise applications.\n\nWork with technical specialists to identifyroot cause, define resolution paths, and ensure actions are completed.\n\nProvidetechnical guidance to Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders when technology decisions or assessments are required.\n\nCloud, Infrastructure & Technology Initiatives\nSupport and lead technology initiatives across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and enterprise infrastructure.\n\nDrive initiatives such as operating system upgrades, cloud security assessments, infrastructure improvements, and technology health checks.\n\nPartner with Infrastructure, Cloud, Data, IAM, and Security teams to implement improvements.\n\nSecurity Engineering & Risk Reduction\n\nReview and assess Critical and High security alerts impactingEKS applications and technology environments.\n\nPartner with InfoSec, IAM, Infrastructure, and other technology teams to investigate and remediate security risks.\n\nSupport implementation of security improvements such as access control enhancements, credential management, and authentication hardening.\n\nDrive corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to closure.\n\nDataOps & Technology Cost Optimization\n\nSupport and lead DataOpsinitiatives, including Databricks-related operational and cost optimization activities.\n\nAnalyze technology usage and identifyopportunities to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.\n\nPartner with Data, Cloud, Engineering, and vendors to implement optimization measures.\n\nVendor & Stakeholder Management\nAct as a key technical liaison between EKS teams and external technology vendors.\n\nUse technical understanding to challenge vendor recommendations and identifygaps.\n\nProactively follow up on outstanding vendor actions and escalate when required.\n\nEnsure vendor dependencies and blockers are identifiedearly and driven to closure.\n\nEngineering Visibility, Reporting & Analytics\nDevelop and enhance operational and technology reports to provide actionable visibility into EKS environments.\n\nSupport reporting around security posture, incidents, operational health, technology usage, and cost optimization.\n\nAct as an in-house Power BI resource for EKS where required.\n\nEnsure reporting data is accurate, reliable, and actionable.\n\nApplication Modernization & Continuous Improvement\nContribute to application and technology modernization initiatives.\n\nWork with vendors and internal engineering teams during application upgrades, improvements, and technical changes.\n\nCross-Functional Engineering Collaboration\nParticipate in technical reviews and technology assessments.\n\nAlign solutions with enterprise architecture, security, and technology standards.\n\nCollaborate effectively with IAM, Infrastructure, Data, InfoSec, Engineering, Mobile Deployment, and other enterprise teams.\n\nWhat You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):\n\n·\nBachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a relateddiscipline.\n\n5-8 years of experience in enterprise technology operations, application operations/support, cloud operations, application engineering, or a relatedtechnology role.\n\nStrong experience in technical troubleshooting and problem resolution within enterprise environments.\n\nKnowledge of relational database concepts, integration technologies, application interfaces, and enterprise technology environments.\n\nWorking knowledge of at least one public cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.\n\nKnowledge of ITSM/ITIL, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.\n\nExperience working with third-party vendors in a large enterprise organization.\n\nAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive technical issues to closure.\n\nWhat will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):\n·\nExperience with enterprise applicationor SaaS operations.\n\nExperience with Azure and/or GCP cloud operations.\n\nExperience working with Infrastructure, IAM, InfoSec, or enterprise security teams.\n\nExperience with Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting/analytics platforms.\n\nKnowledge of Databricks or other modern data platforms.\n\nExperience supporting application modernization or technology transformation initiatives.\n\nExperience
