With such an iconic, essential business in the Australian landscape we are confident that you too will be proud to grow your career at Elders and wear the pink shirt.\nAbout the role\nWe are looking for a Retail Sales Manager to join the growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.\nAs an Elders Retail Sales Manager, you will play a key role in leading the branch’s retail sales and merchandise operations. You will support clients with their rural merchandise needs by providing excellent service, practical product advice and proactive sales support, while also managing procurement, pricing, supply chain and logistics, and inventory performance. Your ability to build strong relationships, work effectively within a team, understand client requirements and identify opportunities for growth will be central to your success.\nResponsibilities\nAs a key member and leader within the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:\nLead the day-to-day retail sales and merchandise operations of the branch\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients\nProvide high-quality customer service, product advice and proactive sales support\nIdentify sales opportunities and drive growth through regular client engagement\nManage procurement, supplier relationships and product availability\nOversee supply chain, logistics and stock movement to support branch performance\nManage pricing, margin awareness and commercial outcomes\nTake accountability for inventory management, stock control and overall retail presentation\nWork collaboratively with the branch team and broader Elders network to deliver strong client outcomes\nAbout you\nTo excel at Elders, you:\nAre comfortable working in, and genuinely thrive as part of,a collaborative team environment\nA proactive, positive and self-motivated approach\nExperience in customer service, sales, retail operations or account management\nStrong relationship-building and communication skills\nA genuine interest in agriculture and rural communities\nCommercial awareness across pricing, stock management and operational performance\nConfidence managing competing priorities across sales, service and operations\nAgribusiness, rural merchandise or farming knowledge would be highly regarded, but is not essential\nAbout Elders\nAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
