This role acts independently with the support from the Assurance Manager and the Head of Internal Audit, and provides high-quality insights that enhance Elders’ governance, risk and control environment.\nResponsibilities\nLead end-to-end audits (planning, scoping, fieldwork, reporting) across a variety of business areas\nDevelop risk assessments, audit programs and testing strategies\nProduce draft scope and audit objectives Execute fieldwork supported by completed workpapers\nValidate and present findings and recommendations to management\nProvide insights that go beyond compliance to highlight efficiency and process improvement opportunities\nDraft concise audit reports with clear conclusion and pragmatic recommendations\nSupport tracking and monitoring of management audit actions\nContribute to enhancing audit methodology, templates, analytics use and reporting\nLook for opportunities to apply AI in internal audit function.\nAbout you\nSolid internal audit experience in a multi-site or complex organisational environment Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills\nSelf starter who owns the delivery of assigned activities and escalates challenges promptly\nWorks well both independently and within the team\nStrong customer focus demonstrating a genuine interest in understanding and supporting business operations\nDemonstrated ability to problem solve and provide effective solutions\nStrong understanding of risk management frameworks and control design\nExperience using data analytics tools to support audit activities\nOpen to occasional travel across Australia\n About Elders\nAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
