In this role, you’ll focus on analyzing payment performance, optimizing transaction success rates, and identifying opportunities to improve checkout conversion. You'll work closely with payment data, experiment with routing strategies, and help ensure a smooth and reliable payment experience for our global users.\nPOSITION BREAKDOWN\nMonitor and analyze payment performance, including authorization rates, decline reasons, and checkout conversion across payment providers, countries, payment methods, and card schemes;\n\nIdentify payment performance issues, investigate their root causes, and proactively drive improvements;\n\nOptimize payment routing strategies by testing different routing rules, retry mechanisms, and fallback options to improve transaction success rates and cost efficiency;\n\nDesign, run, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate payment optimization opportunities and measure their impact;\n\nAct as the main point of contact for payment-related questions from the Customer Support team, helping investigate issues and coordinate escalations;\n\nMonitor fraud-related metrics, including refund rates, chargeback ratios, and fraud-related declines, identifying unusual patterns and potential risks;\n\nCollaborate with internal teams and payment providers to continuously improve payment performance and the overall checkout experience.\n\nWHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT\nSolid understanding of card payment processes, including authorization, 3DS/SCA, decline codes, refunds, and chargebacks;\n\nStrong SQL skills, with the ability to independently analyze large transaction datasets and turn findings into actionable insights;\n\nGood understanding of A/B testing principles, including experiment design, sample sizes, and result interpretation;\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, investigate issues, and make data-driven decisions;\n\nProactive mindset and strong sense of ownership, with the ability to spot performance changes and follow through on improvements;\n\nAbility to communicate complex payment-related insights clearly and collaborate effectively with different teams;\n\nFluency in both English and Lithuanian.\n\nNICE TO HAVE\nHands-on experience with payment orchestration platforms such as Primer, PayRails, or Yuno, including payment routing and fallback configurations;\n\nUnderstanding of payment processing costs, including interchange, scheme fees, and FX markups, and their impact on payment performance;\n\nExperience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Lightdash to build and maintain performance dashboards.\n\nPERKS & BENEFITS\nGrowth opportunities: Access to an internal library, latest tools and technologies, professional conferences, and mentorship to level up your skills, opportunities for internal career growth;\n\nHealth & wellbeing: Private health insurance after the probation period, additional sick days (no doctor’s note needed), and the option to join free volleyball games at Delfi Arena with colleagues;\n\nOffice perks: Free parking, a fully stocked kitchen, Friday bun breakfasts, and a gaming room (table football, driving simulator, PS5, Xbox One);
