You will work closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure supplier performance, product quality, and manufacturing readiness as the company continues to grow.\nThe ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, enjoys solving complex quality challenges, and is excited to operate in a highly cross-functional and execution-focused role.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nLead supplier quality activities including supplier qualification, onboarding, audits, and ongoing performance management\nDevelop and maintain supplier quality requirements, scorecards, and corrective action processes\nPartner closely with suppliers to drive root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues\nEstablish incoming inspection plans, sampling methodologies, and acceptance criteria for critical components\nMonitor supplier quality performance metrics, including defects, yield, responsiveness, and corrective action effectiveness\nSupport supplier process validation, APQP, PPAP, and manufacturing readiness activities where applicable\nCollaborate with Supply Chain teams to ensure component traceability, risk mitigation, and supplier scalability\nPartner with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve production quality issues and improve process capability\nLead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions\nAnalyze quality data and trends to identify risks, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives\nParticipate in design reviews and manufacturability discussions to ensure quality is built into products and processes from the outset\nSupport the implementation and execution of core quality processes, including NCR, IQC, MRB, and CAPA\nContribute to building a strong culture of quality, accountability, and operational excellence across the organization\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality engineering roles\nDemonstrated experience managing supplier quality performance within a hardware manufacturing environment\nStrong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, control plans, and process validation methodologies\nExperience with supplier quality systems, incoming inspection programs, NCR, MRB, and CAPA processes\nExperience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier corrective actions\nExperience working within ISO 9001-compliant environments\nStrong problem-solving skills and experience applying structured root cause analysis methodologies\nAbility to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with contract manufacturers and global supplier networks\nExperience supporting electrochemical, hydrogen, energy, industrial equipment, or related systems\nProfessional certifications such as ASQ CSQP, CQE, CQA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or equivalent quality certifications\nCompensation and Benefits | P4\nMA Zone\n$135,000—$158,000 USD\nActual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.\nBase salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
