In this role you will work closely with senior engineers to support our growth strategy and provide subject matter expertise both internally through coaching and developing staff as well as externally to our clients.\nResponsibilities\nHow you can make an impact:\nEMT Studies: Perform power system studies such as temporary overvoltage, switching overvoltage, insulation coordination, harmonic, flicker, transient recovery volage, energization, lightning etc. \nModel Development: Develop dynamic generator/load models, perform disturbance ride through model tuning and perform PSCAD/PSSE model benchmarking. \nSteady State Studies: Perform steady state studies such as load flow, short circuit and power quality.\nTechnology: Proficiency in power system modelling software such as PSCAD, PSSE, ETAP or equivalents. Familiarity with other specialized software such CDEGS, COMSOL, WinIGS and CYMCAP etc. \nCompliance: Strong understanding of relevant industry standards such as IEEE/IEC/CIGRE.\nQualifications\nBring your passion, here's what’s needed:\nBachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering; emphasis in power systems preferred\n2-4+ years of experience in EMT modelling and power systems studies\nExperience with power systems software such as PSCAD, PSSE, ETAP, etc.\nExperience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to improve quality, productivity and innovation\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with control system tuning\nExperience with Data Center projects\nExperience with transmission line studies\nLead the change!\nBe a part of an innovative team shaping the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence.
