In this role you will work closely with senior leadership to support our growth strategy and provide subject matter expertise both internally through coaching and developing staff as well as externally to our clients.\nResponsibilities\nHow you can make an impact:\n Electro-magnetic Transient (EMT) Studies: Perform power system studies such as subsynchronous resonance, control interaction, ferroresonance, temporary overvoltage (TOV), switching overvoltage (SOV), insulation coordination, harmonic, transient recovery voltage (TRV), energization, lightning etc.\nModel Development: Develop local system EMT models. perform disturbance ride through model tuning and perform PSCAD/PSSE model benchmarking.\nSteady State Studies: Perform steady state studies such as load flow and short circuit.\nTechnology: Proficiency in power system modelling software such as the following or equivalents: PSCAD, EMTP, PSSE, Digsilent Powerfactory, PSSE, ETAP, CYMCAP\nCompliance: Strong understanding of relevant industry standards such as IEEE/IEC/CICRE.\nClient Engagement: Provide advisory support to generation, large load and merchant transmission developers. Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives\nQualifications\nBring your passion, here what’s needed:\n3+ years of experience in power system modelling and power system studies\nBachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis.\nExperience with control system tuning is a plus\nExperience with HVDC system is a plus\nExperience leveraging AI and automation tools responsibly to improve quality, productivity and innovation\n\nLead the change!\nBe a part of an innovative team shaping the grid of the future through advanced energy intelligence.
