Supports, in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution.\nResponsibilities\nHow you can make an impact:\nProject leadership\nLeads the project team, establishes the project execution approach and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources to accomplish all project goal. \nCoaches and provides performance feedback for project staff.\nInstructions and guidelines\nContributes to the continuous improvement of policies and work instructions bylearned. \nLeads project reviews for other large projects and Organizational Project Management (OPM) reviews/assessments and conducts competency assessments for the project execution teams.\nActively seeks both internal improvement opportunities and external project management practices with relevance to EPE and influences the organization to continuously improve project execution.\nActively participates in and contributes to internal and external expert groups, e.g. project management councils and other forums.\nProject recovery\nLeads project recovery efforts, i.e. the rapid assessment of troubled projects and their turnaround.\nBudget, sales and operations planning\nParticipates in the budgeting process, jointly with Management. \nParticipates in Sales and Operations Planning with Management and Sales/Business Development.\nTakes actions to close potential gaps in project execution capacity.\nProject execution and control\nEnsures projects follow execution best practices and EPE policies. \nEffectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization. \nMonitors and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow, tracking the achievement of financial target continuously. \nIdentifies, qualifies, quantifies and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. \nCaptures, analyzes and shares lessons learned throughout the project.\nEnsures that projects are formally closed out, as contractually agreed. \nDrives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.\nPlanning and scheduling\nEnsures that all planning activities (including scope and financial plans, schedules and risk management plans) are performed properly by the assigned project team(s).\nContract, claims and procurement management\nEnsures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with EPE policies and contractual agreements. \nEnsures that required procurement activities for services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers are performed by the assigned resources.\nStakeholder relations\nActs as key contact for the customer and escalation point for project issues. \nBuilds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.\nHealth, safety and environment (HSE)\nEnsures the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.\nPeople leadership and development\nDevelops project execution staff through formal and informal mentoring and coaching.\nQualifications\nBring your passion, here's what’s needed:\nBachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited program.\nMinimum ten (10) years of related experience in managing Turnkey EPC Electrification/Generation projects.\nExperience in leading EPC projects: Transmission, substation projects, Renewable energy generation (Solar, Wind), Battery storage systems.\nProven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients.\nAbility to identify opportunities and lead proposal / pursuit efforts. Proven ability to develop business and establish relationships with clients.\nAbility to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
