The role is deliberately hands-on, combining regular casting and finishing of refractory elements, mold preparation, and an independent capstone engineering project with direct impact on company operations.\nYour work will tangibly deepen our understanding of producing our elements at scale. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineer.\nWhat You’ll Do\nMix, pour, vibrate, cure, fire, QC, and package refractory E-Brick heating elements as part of the Manufacturing team\n\nPrepare molds for casting, including cleaning, assembly, and repair\n\nPrepare and document Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) samples for each production batch\n\nIdentify, design, and implement process improvements that increase throughput, consistency, and quality\n\nWrite and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) for casting, mold preparation, and lab equipment\n\nKeep the production area, samples, tooling, and materials clean, organized, and cataloged\n\nExecute a capstone engineering project with direct impact on company operations\n\nTravel: No travel is anticipated for this role.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nAn enthusiastic approach and resilience in the face of challenging technical problems\n\nExperience with hands-on work in a professional or educational setting, such as lab work, production, or construction\n\nAttention to detail and strong communicationskills\n\nDemonstrated commitment to adhering to workplace safety procedures and contributing to safety culture\n\nComfort working with your hands;
