In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.\n\nJoin us in our exciting quest to build the future home!\nAbout the role:\nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer and Quality Technician to inspect incoming raw material and in process components and ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. The CMM technician will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CMM equipment, analyzing measurement data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department. In addition to ensuring all metrology components meet specified standards.\nIn detail, you will:\n Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to inspect machined, fabricated, and assembled components.\nDevelop, modify, and optimize CMM programs based on engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements.\nMaintain accurate quality records and inspection documentation.\nServe as the subject matter expert for metallurgy, providing technical leadership in material characterization, failure analysis, process development, supplier support, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).\nAnalyze inspection results and generate detailed reports documenting compliance or nonconformance.\nVerify dimensional accuracy of parts using precision measuring instruments such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.\nWho you are / Your qualifications:\n4+ years of experience operating CMM equipment in a manufacturing or quality environment.\nSkills and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.\nExperience with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques\nStrong understanding of GD&T principles.\nHigh school Diploma/ GED\nWhere you'll be:\nYou will be based at the Kinston Dishwasher Plant in Kinston, North Carolina, working in a normal manufacturing environment.
