In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.\nJoin us in our exciting quest to build the future home!\nWhat you'll do:\nCompliance Laboratory Engineer is responsible for performing electrical safety and functional tests on home appliances (with a focus on washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers) to verify conformity with international standards.\nThe role includes testing activities, critical analysis of results, management of non-conformities, and technical support to design and development teams.\nIn detail, you will:\nPerform laboratory tests in accordance with IEC/EN 60335-1 and relevant Part 2 standards for washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers\n\nAnalyze test results, identify technical issues, and propose corrective action\n\nPrepare accurate and well-structured technical reports\n\nCollaborate with design teams and other departments to ensure product compliance\n\nManage and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with internal procedures\n\nSupport internal and external compliance audits\n\nMonitor updates and changes to applicable safety standards and requirements\n\nInterface with Notified Bodies for testing activities, technical clarifications, regulatory alignment, and certification progress\n\nContribute to the preparation and maintenance of the technical data package (technical documentation, compliance dossier, test evidence)\n\nProduct Safety Risk Assessment (PSRA)\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering\n\n3+ years relevant experience in R&D Laboratory, preferably from the appliances industry or 3rd party lab test service\n\nGood English communication skills, both written and spoken\n\nKnowledge\nKnowledge of IEC/EN 60335-1 and the following specific standards:\n\n- IEC/EN 60335 2 7 (washing machines)\n- IEC/EN 60335 2 11 (tumble dryers)\n- IEC/EN 60335 2 5 (dishwashers)\nProficiency with electrical measurement tools and laboratory test equipment\n\nKnowledge of Electrical and Electronic components\n\nAbility to read and interpret electrical and electronic schematics\n\nQuality Management in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025\n\nProduct Authority approval/certification\n\nSkills:\nStrong critical thinking and analytical capabilities\n\nProblem-solving with a proactive mindset\n\nTeamwork-oriented with effective communication skills\n\nAccurate, reliable, and able to work independently\n\nInitiative and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment\n\nPrevious experience in testing laboratories or compliance offices\n\nKnowledge of certification processes (TÜV, UL, etc.)\n\nFamiliarity with performance testing on home appliances\n\nWhere you'll be:\nYou will be based in our Rayong plant and report to Senior Leader.\nBenefits highlights:\nMedical & Life Insurance\n\nDiscounts on Electrolux products and services\n\nFull Attendance Allowance\n\nShuttle Bus Service\n\nAs part of Electrolux, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
