We design intuitive and inspiring experiences for both connected and non-connected appliances. For connected products, we shape the complete end-to-end experience across the appliance interface, mobile app, voice, and other connected touchpoints-bringing hardware and software together into one coherent experience. As a Digital Designer Intern, you will support designers working in cross-functional product teams and contribute to real design challenges for consumers around the world.\nWhat You'll Work On\nDuring the internship, you will contribute to active design work with guidance from experienced designers. Typical tasks may include:\nSupport the design of user flows and interface concepts for connected kitchen experiences across mobile and appliance touchpoints.\nCreate wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes in Figma to explore and communicate ideas.\nHelp prepare and take part in user research and usability testing.\nReview existing experiences, competitor solutions, and consumer insights to identify design opportunities.\nContribute to design system components, patterns, and documentation to improve consistency and accessibility.\nParticipate in team ceremonies, workshops, design reviews, and critiques, iterating your work based on feedback.\nWhat You'll Learn\nBy the end of the internship, you will have developed:\nHands-on experience with an end-to-end product design process, from understanding a problem to supporting implementation.\nA stronger understanding of how mobile apps, appliance interfaces, voice, and connected services come together in one coherent user experience.\nPractical skills in user flows, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, usability testing, and design documentation.\nExperience using research, consumer insights, data, accessibility principles, and design systems to make and explain design decisions.\nConfidence in presenting work, participating in critique, receiving feedback, and iterating designs together with others.\nInsight into how designers collaborate with product, engineering, research, content, and business partners in global agile product teams.\nundefined.\nCombination with Thesis Project\nWe offer the possibility of hosting a Bachelor or Master thesis project. The topic should be developed in alignment with the people leader of the position and relevant for the Electrolux Group.\nWho You Are\nWe are looking for a student who combines structured thinking with genuine curiosity about organizations.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nActive student enrolled in an ongoing Bachelor's or Master's program in the fields of digital design - with an expected graduation date 2028 or later.\nRemain an active student throughout the entire internship period with expected graduation date 2028 or later.\nCurious, motivated, and eager to learn\nStructured, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks\nA team player with good communication skills\nGood knowledge and experience of using Figma as a design tool\nFluent in English (additional languages are a plus)\nWhere you’ll be:\nYou will be based at our modern global Headquarters in Stockholm, with 1,200+ colleagues on site. We work in a hybrid setup that gives everyone up to 20% flexibility to work remotely, while boosting creativity and collaboration through regular office presence. The work contract is full-time and limited to 6 months, with monthly compensation of 21,000 SEK for Bachelor students and 22,000 SEK for Master students.\nPlease note that Electrolux Group does not provide visa sponsorship for internships.
