Reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Architect, this role leads the design and development of backend ecommerce solutions, oversees development teams, and supports operational reliability. You will translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions, guide feature development, and ensure best practices across architecture, quality, and delivery. Success in this role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to lead teams through complex, time-sensitive challenges.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable ecommerce solutions using Java and SAP Commerce (Hybris)\nOwn platform reliability, performance, and scalability, including monitoring and resolving production and support issues\nTranslate business and functional requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans\nDeliver new features and enhancements with a focus on security, performance, and reliability\nIntegrate ecommerce platforms with SAP ERP, payment gateways, CRM systems, and other third-party services\nConduct code reviews to ensure adherence to architecture standards, best practices, and quality guidelines\nMentor and guide development teams, supporting skill development and consistent delivery standards\nCollaborate with architects and peers to define implementation processes, quality gates, and development standards\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field\n5+ years of experience in ecommerce and backend software development using Java\nStrong hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris), including architecture, data models, and core modules\nExperience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architectures\nSolid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and enterprise development best practices\nProven ability to lead development teams and coordinate across IT and business stakeholders\nStrong communication skills and experience operating in high-pressure, production-support environments\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or similar environments\nExposure to front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Node.js\nKnowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments\nSAP Commerce Cloud certification\nBenefits include:\nFlexible work hours/hybrid work environment\nMedical, dental, vision and life insurance\nCompetitive holiday and vacation time off program\nRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.\nDiscounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of service\nPlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.\nFind more on:\nElectrolux Group North America: https://www.linkedin.com/company/electrolux/life/northamerica/ Electrolux Group Careers: https://career.electroluxgroup.com/global/en\nElectrolux Consumer Products, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
