Main duties include oversight of a large, fast paced cavity fabrication, enameling, silkscreen and gluing areas. This position includes production, scheduling, quality and people management along with working closely with assembly customers, abiding by true lean manufacturing principles.\nWhat you’ll do:\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance across all operations.\nReduce operational waste, including scrap, rework, and downtime, to improve efficiency and cost performance.\nLead departmental continuous improvement projects to strengthen operational execution and overall business results.\nImprove first-pass yield and quality of finished components through process optimization and problem-solving.\nIncrease productivity and operational effectiveness within the assigned manufacturing area.\nReduce consumption of environmental resources, including water, natural gas, and electricity, while supporting sustainability goals.\nPartner with supervisors and hourly team members to foster continuous learning, skills development, and employee engagement.\nEnsure compliance with Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS) standards and applicable ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 requirements.\nProvide site-wide support for special projects, with a focus on data management, analysis, and consolidation.\nPlan, coordinate, and implement engineering changes, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.\nCollaborate with Production and Purchasing teams to manage materials affected by engineering changes and prevent unnecessary procurement.\nMaintain clear communication with key engineering stakeholders regarding the status and progress of engineering change implementation.\nCoordinate inventory rotation strategies to minimize scrap, rework, and obsolescence associated with engineering changes.\nQualifications:\nA bachelor's degree plus minimum 5 years relevant experience OR a minimum 10 years of relevant experience.\nExperience working within a Six Sigma and/or other structured quality or lean manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated success in driving productivity improvements and implementing waste reduction initiatives.\nProven ability to achieve long-term business objectives and lead projects that drive organizational change across all levels of a manufacturing facility.\nWhere you’ll be:\nThis position will be based in Springfield, TN.\nBenefits highlights:\nMedical, dental, vision and life insurance.\nCompetitive holiday and vacation time off program.\nRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.\nDiscounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of service.\nPlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.\nFind more on:\nElectrolux Group North America: https://www.linkedin.com/company/electrolux/life/northamerica/\nElectrolux Group Careers: https://career.electroluxgroup.com/global/en\nAs part of Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
