For more information go to www.electroluxgroup.com. \nAll about the role:\nThe Facility Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, safety, compliance and operational efficiency of the company's facilities across Malaysia, including the PJ (HQ), Parts Centres, branches, offices, warehouses, and other company-operated locations.\nThe role provides strategic and operational leadership for the company's facilities portfolio, ensuring that all sites are safe, compliant, well-maintained, cost-effective and fit for business operations. Facility Manager will work closely with business leaders, landlords, contractors, vendors, local authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure consistent facilities standards and a positive workplace experience across all locations\nA Typical Day\n1. Multi-Site Facilities Management\nManage the day-to-day facilities operations across the company's PJ HQ office, Parts Centres, and other branch locations throughout Malaysia.\nEstablish and maintain consistent facilities management standards across all sites.\nConduct regular site inspections and ensure that facility-related issues are identified and resolved promptly.\nDevelop preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for buildings, equipment, utilities and infrastructure.\nOversee office administration activities and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.\nOversee and monitor the company's office dispatch operations.\nCoordinate facility requirements for new branches, relocations, renovations, expansions and office closures.\nEnsure facilities are operationally ready to support business requirements.\nProvide facilities support for Parts Centres, branches and other operational locations, recognising their different operational requirements from corporate offices.\n2. Building Maintenance & Infrastructure\nOversee maintenance and servicing of building systems, including air-conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, lifts, fire protection systems, security systems and other building infrastructure.\nManage planned preventive maintenance and ensure statutory inspections and certifications are completed on time.\nCoordinate repair, renovation and improvement works with contractors and service providers.\nMonitor the condition of facilities and recommend capital improvements where required.\nEnsure critical facilities issues are escalated and resolved with minimal business disruption,\n3. Health, Safety, Security & Compliance\nEnsure all facilities comply with applicable Malaysian legislation, regulatory requirements and company policies.\nPartner with local OSHA, global security, risk team, and relevant functions to maintain a safe and secure working environment.\nEnsure fire safety systems, emergency response arrangements and other statutory requirements are properly maintained.\nCoordinate emergency preparedness, evacuation drills and business continuity requirements relating to facilities.\nSupport internal, external and regulatory audits relating to facilities and workplace management.\n4. Vendor & Contractor Management\nManage facilities management vendors, contractors and service providers across Malaysia, including local government agency interaction on business licensing.\nEstablish clear service standards, KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).\nMonitor vendor performance, quality, responsiveness and compliance.\nLead vendor selection, tendering and contract renewal processes where required.\nEnsure contractors comply with company safety, security and access requirements.\nDrive continuous improvement and cost optimisation through effective vendor management.\n5. Budget & Cost Management\nDevelop and manage the annual facilities operating and capital expenditure budgets.\nMonitor facilities-related expenditure and ensure spending is within approved budgets.\nIdentify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising safety, compliance or service quality.\nReview quotations, contracts and invoices and ensure appropriate commercial governance.\nManage all facilities-related insurances.\nManage and maintain appropriate records, permits, licences, certificates and inspection reports.\nProvide regular reporting on facilities costs, projects and financial performance.\n6. Workplace & Employee Experience\nPartner with HR and business stakeholders on workplace initiatives, sustainability, employee experience and office requirements.\nManage workplace services including office layout, meeting rooms, pantry/common areas, parking and other employee facilities.\nSupport workplace transformation, office redesign and hybrid-working initiatives where applicable.\nSupport the company's sustainability and environmental objectives through efficient use of energy, water and other resources.\n7. Projects & Change Management\nLead or support facilities-related projects, including office moves, renovations, expansions, refurbishments and new site openings.\nDevelop project plans, budgets and timelines and coordinate internal and external stakeholders.\nManage contractors and consultants to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and within budget.\nEnsure appropriate handover, documentation and post-project maintenance arrangements.\nOther ad-hoc task related to facilities assigned by line manager.\nWho You Are?\nBachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property Management, Building Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.\nMinimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in facilities, workplace, property or building management.\nProven experience managing facilities/sites across Malaysia.\nExperience managing corporate offices as well as operational environments such as parts centres, branches or service facilities is highly preferred.\nStrong experience in OSH, vendor, contractor, contract, and budget management.\nGood knowledge of Malaysian workplace, building, health, and safety requirements.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nStrong commercial and cost-management mindset.\nWhere you’ll be:\nThis is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.\nBenefit highlights:\nHybrid working arrangement.\nDiscounts on Electrolux products and services.\nMedical & Hospitalization coverage for both employees and dependents.\nDental & Optical.\nAs part of Electrolux, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
