As part of the Global Quality & Compliance organization, this role serves as the Voice of the Consumer (VoC) lead-translating field performance data into actionable insights that improve product reliability and customer experience.\nWorking cross-functionally with Customer Service, Sales, Supplier Quality, R&D, Product Care, and Brand Licensing teams, the Field Quality Engineer drives issue resolution, supports root cause analysis, and ensures continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. This role is highly collaborative and data-driven, with a strong focus on field performance, problem-solving, and proactive quality improvements.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCollect, analyze, and synthesize Voice of Consumer data including warranty claims, service data, returns, and customer feedback\nIdentify trends and emerging quality risks, translating insights into actionable improvement initiatives\nLead root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys) and drive cross-functional alignment on corrective actions\nTrack and manage quality issues, ensuring timely escalation, resolution, and follow-up across stakeholders\nPartner with Supplier Quality, R&D, and Product Care teams to implement corrective actions and improve product performance\nOwn and continuously improve regional field quality reporting, including KPIs, scorecards, and trend analysis\nCoordinate return and analysis of defective products and components to support technical investigations\nSupport new product development by providing field insights, quality targets, and performance expectations\nDeploy quality improvement tools such as service bulletins and troubleshooting guides to field teams\nSupport training, technical guidance, and feedback loops with service technicians and Customer Service teams\nContribute to Brand Licensing quality activities, ensuring licensed products meet Electrolux standards\nCollaborate across global and regional teams to share best practices and improve quality processes\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field; equivalent experience considered\nMinimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, field quality, or product performance analysis within a manufacturing environment\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development lifecycle\nExperience analyzing warranty, service, or consumer data to drive improvements\nStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills\nWillingness to travel within North America as needed - 20%\nPreferred Qualification:\nExperience in consumer durable goods or appliance industries\nFamiliarity with quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC)\nKnowledge of product functionality, components, and common failure modes\nBenefits include:\nFlexible work hours/hybrid work environment (80 / 20)\nMedical, dental, vision and life insurance\nCompetitive holiday and vacation time off program\nRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.\nDiscounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of service\nPlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.\nFind more on:\nElectrolux Group North America: https://www.linkedin.com/company/electrolux/life/northamerica/ Electrolux Group Careers: https://career.electroluxgroup.com/global/en\nElectrolux Consumer Products, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
