In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.\nJoin us in our exciting quest to build the future home!\nAbout the role:\nEnsure the implementation of standardized solutions for the industrialization of metal stamped and injection molded components, fostering the development of a robust base of tool suppliers in Asia, with high attention to Safety, product Quality and Manufacturing Cost.\nAs part of a Group level team, this position offers the candidate the opportunity of gaining experience in a high variety of internally manufactured products and to interact with engineering teams distributed globally across our manufacturing sites.\nAreas of competence: metal stamping and injection molding tooling.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThis role shall act as a crucial pivotal point to support the development of projects for metal stamping and injection molding tools sourced in Asia to be delivered to our manufacturing locations globally.\nThe position requires a strong interaction with the manufacturing project engineers located in our manufacturing sites, starting from the early stages of the development of any new project and ensuring a successful management of the tooling supplier base:\nParticipating in the RFQ phase, understanding and transferring the needs of the customer Electrolux site.\nSupporting technical alignment of quotations, striving for receiving answers on timely manner.\nParticipating in tool design reviews and in the clarification of technical requirements.\nMonitoring tool construction progress and raw material delivery.\nSupporting tool and part approval phases.\nInteracting with supplier in case of need of improvement in the process or part quality prior to tool shipment.\nIn close collaboration with the CapEx team, will actively participate in the consolidation of the toolmaker base in Asia, as well as in the identification of new potential suppliers able to provide solutions according to Electrolux expectations at the best cost.\nWho you are:\nAt least 10 years of experience in development of tooling for injection molded and metal stamped parts.\nPractical knowledge in metal forming and injection molding tool design and construction techniques.\nKnowledge of injection molding, metal processability and formability.\nGood understanding of product drawings and dimensioning and tolerancing.\nProject management skills and tools.\nWillingness to travel.\nGood analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work in multicultural teams, open and innovative mindset.\nGoal-oriented, persevering, focused on quality.\nSelf-organized, able to share attention between short and long-term goals.\nFriendly personality, open for cooperation with other people.\nFluent Chinese and English communication.\nWhere you’ll be:\nYou will be based at the Shanghai office\nBenefits highlights:\nFlexible work hours/hybrid work environment; \nDiscounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services; \nFamily-friendly benefits; \nHealth and Well-being initiatives \nExtensive learning opportunities and flexible career path. \nContinued Progress on Diversity & Inclusion \nLiving our Sustainability Commitment \nAs part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
