This role supports the production line and will follow production's needs.\nPlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.\nSummary:\nMaintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability, uptime, and operational efficiency. This role provides preventive and corrective maintenance support for plastics and fabrication operations, troubleshoots equipment issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The position ensures compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and energy management standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance equipment performance, reduce downtime, and control lifecycle costs.\nYour main tasks:\nPerform comprehensive industrial maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems to ensure safe, reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective production operations. This includes supporting PLC-controlled equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards (OSHA, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001), minimizing downtime, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating effectively with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.\nDiagnose and maintain electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, including motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs.\nSupport Siemens and Allen-Bradley automation platforms and resolve controls-related issues affecting production.\nEnsure compliance with safety procedures, including LOTO, PPE requirements, and OSHA regulations.\nMaintain equipment to meet quality standards, support root cause analysis, and verify performance before returning equipment to production.\nReduce downtime and maintenance costs through efficient repairs and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate equipment status, and provide technical support and training.\nSupport energy management objectives and comply with ISO 50001 requirements.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAssociate degree, certificate, or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Maintenance, Industrial Systems, or a related technical field \nMinimum of two (2) years of formal technical education or training \nExperience working with industrial electrical systems, including three-phase 480-volt power and 24-volt control circuits \nAbility to troubleshoot and repair motors, controls, and electrical panels \nWorking knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) \nAbility to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment \nPreferred Qualifications:\nTen (10) or more years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment \nExperience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLC platforms \nExperience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems \nExperience supporting metal forming and stamping equipment \nKnowledge of ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems, including SEUs, objectives, operational controls, and energy performance indicators \nPhysical Demands:\nMust be able to lift packages 35 lbs. or less on a consistent basis\nShould be able to team lift any package greater than 35 lbs. but less than 71 lbs.\nShould be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending\nMust be able to spend long periods of time on your feet\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to perform the essentials functions of the job.\nBenefits:\nAt Electrolux, we take responsibility for our development in a supportive environment where we embrace our differences and learn from each other.
