This role minimizes system failures across hardware, software, human, and process domains while supporting industrialization of new products and processes. The engineer leads equipment procurement, reliability/maintenance initiatives, and champions continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.\nWhere you’ll be:\nThis position will be based in Kinston, NC\nWhat you’ll do:\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes.\nDevelop technical specifications for equipment in alignment with global standards and guidelines.\nLead capital expenditure (CapEx) projects and drive process improvement initiatives.\nOversee equipment installation while ensuring full compliance with safety regulations.\nConduct manufacturability analyses to support new product development projects.\nSupport digital manufacturing initiatives, including virtual feasibility assessments.\nDesign and execute factory layout projects utilizing Lean manufacturing principles.\nPerform time studies, line balancing, and develop standardized work documentation.\nContribute to PFMEA, Design for Automation (DFA), and Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities.\nManage project timelines and budgets for new product introductions and process improvements.\nPrepare capital investment proposals and monitor project expenditures.\nLead supplier sourcing efforts and conduct equipment evaluations.\nDevelop and implement reliability strategies, plans, and procedures.\nCoordinate inventory management and oversee routine procurement of parts and supplies.\nMaintain accurate records of work orders and maintenance activities using CMMS.\nSupport emergency response efforts and contribute to corrective action planning.\nQualifications and skills required:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or similar technical role .\nStrong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.\nKnowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, OEE, and MTM; familiarity with maintenance/reliability tools and digital manufacturing a plus.\nProficient in Microsoft Office with strong data analysis, reporting, and technical documentation skills.\nEffective communicator and team collaborator; able to train/mentor others and work flexible shifts (including weekends).\nBenefits highlights:\nMedical, dental, vision and life insurance.\nCompetitive holiday and vacation time off program.\nRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.\nDiscounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of service.\nPlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.\nFind more on:\nElectrolux Group North America:https://www.linkedin.com/company/electrolux/life/northamerica/\nElectrolux Group Careers:https://career.electroluxgroup.com/global/en\nElectrolux Home Products, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
