Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home!\nAbout the role\nThe Category Development Manager is responsible for establishing and leading Category Development as a strategic capability from the ground up. The role designs the category development framework, defines ways of working, generates shopper and category insights (including shopper decision trees), and leads category projects with key customers to drive sustainable growth and shopper value.\nThis is a foundational role requiring strong strategic capability, analytical depth, and the ability to translate insights into commercial impact. The role builds and implements frameworks, governance, and standard processes, while developing templates, toolkits, and a shared category management language across functions and markets.\nIt establishes and owns shopper decision trees, translates shopper behaviour into actionable category strategies, and ensures insights are embedded into all recommendations.\nAs Category Development Manager you analyse market, POS, and consumer data to identify opportunities, define category roles and priorities, and develop clear “story behind the numbers” narratives. You also lead category projects with Primary customers, acts as a strategic partner in customer discussions, and develop customer-ready recommendations.\nYou will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and Product Line, driving adoption of category ways of working, define data requirements and KPIs, and continuously improve the quality and impact of category insights and recommendations.
