This position will provide excellent growth experience with significant and highly visible value creation responsibilities.\nWhat you’ll do:\nThe Procurement Category Manager is responsible for:\nManaging global categories across multiple business areas\nManaging the business strategically with the objective to leverage , to promote complexity reduction , simplification , modularization, cost performance and innovation driving key Procurement processes in collaboration with the others company functions .\nGlobal leadership to develop and retain strong supplier relationships.\nCoordinate and direct data research, analytics, and management to form globally aligned category strategies.\nLead the development of annual global category budgets and strategic plans for all Business Areas, identifying opportunities and risks.\nCoordination of global activities to generate initiatives and projects to deliver productivity targets (e.g. global RFQs, negotiations etc.).\nManage and evaluate contractual agreement terms to ensure compliance across multiple Business Areas.\nImplement and support actions to improve the Net Operating Working Capital.\nMaximize buying efficiency, minimize supply disruption, and financial risks across all Business Areas, also supporting resolution of Supplier performance issues.\nSupport Program Management on new model Launches and platform refresh programs.\nFor the categories under her / his control, she / he will hold full responsbility of category budget and strategy and of supplier relationship management.\n\nWho you are:\nUniversity degree (Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineer or Economics background is an asset)\nMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement in a multinational environment\nEnergy (delivering results, leading others and oneself and demonstrating ambition and drive, converting ideas and concepts into projects and actions to satisfy our customers’ needs)\nOpenness (keeping the consumer and customer in focus, cross-collaboration and networking)\nAdaptability and judgement and decision-making and acumen\nCuriosity for innovation, coaching others and oneself , ability to learn\nExperience in adjacent disciplines as manufacturing, research and development is welcomed;\nAdaptability to changing inputs and challenging situations;\nAbility to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, strong cooperation skills;\nInterest in the future political and economic evolution, curiousity to explore the opportunities of the new world trends in sustainability, Internet-of-things, IA, digitization and innovatve ideas/solutions;\nFluent in English\nWhere you’ll be:\nYou will be based at the Shanghai office\nBenefits highlights:\nFlexible work hours/hybrid work environment; \nDiscounts on our award-winning Electrolux products and services; \nFamily-friendly benefits; \nHealth and Well-being initiatives \nExtensive learning opportunities and flexible career path. \nContinued Progress on Diversity & Inclusion \nLiving our Sustainability Commitment \nAs part of the Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
