In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.\nJoin us in our exciting quest to build the future home!\nAll about the role:\nWe are looking for a Technology Functionality Team Leader to join our R&D team in Rayong, Thailand.\nIn this role, you will be part of the Product Organization within the Systems & Technologies Functionality Laboratories, contributing to the development of Consumer and Standard cycles in line with Generation Plans and Quality/Cost-out roadmaps.\nWhat you'll do:\nYou will be responsible for the design and development of product, module, and sub-module functionalities across multiple technical areas, supporting innovation and ensuring product performance, quality, and competitiveness.\nIn particular, you will be accountable for the development of Washing Machines, Washer-Dryers, Tumble Dryers, and Dishwashers within the following technology functionality areas:\nNoise\nMechanics & Vibration\nThermodynamics & Fluid Dynamics (air)\nChemical and Soiling\nIn detail, you will:\nResponsible for driving development of functionality for key appliance technologies and ensuring product performance meets specifications, cost and quality targets.\nResponsible for management of a laboratory team of engineers and technicians\nDefine and validate test plans aligned with performance targets\nEnsure adoption of best practices in testing methodologies and efficiency\nSupport project budget definition and tracking\nCollaborate with functional platforms to meet Generation Plans and Quality/Cost targets\nStrong connection point as part of Technology Functionality team in Porcia, ensuring alignment in capabilities, testing procedures, testing efficiency\nQualifications:\nMaster’s degree in Thermodynamic, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering\nMinimum 5 - 7 years of experience in R&D environment preferably from home appliances industry\nConsolidated knowledge in several technologies area \nComfortable in working under pressure in a complex environment\nAgile and flexible in critical situation management with hard science base approach\nStrong ability in analytical thinking and proactive behaviour being attractive by multicultural and agile environment\nConsolidated experience in laboratory testing design and application of statistical approach on testing methodologies\nFluent English, with very good written and verbal communication skills\nWhere you'll be:\nYou will be based in our Rayong plant and report to a Manager.\nBenefits highlights:\nMedical & Life Insurance\nDiscounts on Electrolux products and services\nFull Attendance Allowance\nShuttle Bus Service\nAs part of Electrolux, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
