If so, this could be an opportunity for you.\nWe are looking for a Development Engineer to join our R&D team and contribute to the development of next-generation heat pump technology for tumble dryers. In this role, you will be driving testing, verification, and performance improvements to ensure quality, functionality, and reliability before products reach the market.\nIn this role, you will be a key player in shaping the next generation of sustainable energy solutions.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING\nAs a Development Engineer for the heat pump systems, your main responsibility is to plan, execute, and evaluate tests on heat pump systems and drying technologies. You will analyze performance data, identify improvement opportunities, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable solutions.\nOther responsibilities:\nInvestigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend improvements.\nContribute to the optimization and continuous improvement of heat pump-based products.\nVerify new technical solutions and concepts.\nDocument test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.\nWork with measurement equipment, data acquisition systems, and validation methods.\nParticipate in development projects together with design and systems engineers.\nCollaborate closely with colleagues in R&D, software development, electronics, production, laboratory operations, etc.\nEnsure products meet requirements for quality, functionality, and reliability.\nWHAT'S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE\nTo succeed in this role, we would like to see that you have genuine interest and passion for working with heat pumps. We believe that you have worked as a Development Engineer, Test Engineer, Verification Engineer, or R&D Engineer within heat pumps, refrigeration systems, HVAC, or related technical fields. You have several years of hands-on experience testing thermodynamic systems and enjoy working closely to the product to solve technical challenges and drive improvements.\nAs a person, you are a proactive and analytical engineer with a strong drive to understand complex systems and turn insights into practical solutions. You take initiative, challenge the status quo, and use data-driven analysis to identify opportunities that enhance product quality, performance, and reliability.\nQualifications:\nA Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Thermodynamics, Refrigeration Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.\nHands-on experience with heat pumps, refrigeration systems, HVAC, or similar thermal systems, combined with a strong understanding of thermodynamics and heat pump processes.\nExperience from a laboratory, testing, verification, or product development environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\nAdvantageous qualifications:\nExperience developing white goods, heat pumps, refrigeration products, or HVAC systems.\nExperience with data acquisition systems and simulation tools.\nKnowledge of PLC programming, automation, control systems, or electrical systems.\nSwedish language skills.\nTo be eligible for this role, you must already have the legal right to work in Sweden.
