If you're curious, resilient, and ready to grow, you'll find the space to lead, innovate, and together with us Meet the needs beyond tomorrow.\nhttps://www.electroluxprofessionalgroup.com/en/join-us/\nINTERNSHIP - LEAN PROCESS ENGINEERING\nThe internship will be within the Process Engineering team, whose mission is to ensure the budget defined performance in terms of method, plant efficiency, technological choice, but also ensure performance in terms of timing and costs of technologies implementation linked with new product or new processes.\nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING\nDevelopment and industrialization of new processes in connection with the entry of new products, integrating with the business functions and according to the logics EPS/WCM, defining layout, equipment, work cycles, technologies to be used in order to maximizing safety, quality and efficiency.\nProduction cycles: analyses and plan production process, taking care of determining best cycle operating development and determining times to be assigned to each operation for each production unit. Estimate cycle times considering variations to existing products. Define new work cycles for new products starting analysis from the old ones.\nLayout: determine assembly line, workstation and production machinery layout according to works phases for each operator on each production unit.\nProcess improvement: contribute to implementation of corrective actions / improvement projects of process/product in terms of productivity, quality, functionality, safety and costs.\nSafety: verify in cycle and layout development phases that individual protection devices and plant safety devices are used as required by regulations (also as identified by other functions). Keep in mind on each improvement of tools / layout / work distribution the safety aspects.\nTools and production machinery: contribute along with interested functions to define characteristics of tools/machinery to be used in the production of new products or modified products, in particular: identify suppliers and enquiries; assist production in starting up production machinery.\nIn this role, he/she will be involved on achieving the following objectives:\nCurrent state analysis of the production processes of current products (layout, operating instructions, existing standards).\nIdentification of improvements opportunities deriving from the application of Lean methodologies, as well as Dfa, Dfm and modularization within the industrialization process, maintaining the utmost attention to safety and environmental aspects, and ensuring optimal quality standards.\nCollaboration in the definition of the new production processes in accordance with the design of new products and new strategic technologies implemented.\nOperational support to the preparatory activities of re-layout, pre-series, production start-up preliminary to the release in Production of new appliances.\nWHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE\nUniversity degree in mechanical or management engineering.\nSound knowledge of lean manufacturing.\nKnowledge in MS Office package, AutoCAD and 3D modeling.\nFluent English, both written and spoken.\nTeam player with positive attitude.\nOpen minded.\nGood communication skills.\nProactive, energetic and result oriented. \nOUR CULTURE IN 4 WORDS\nBe Customer Obsessed.
