That’s why we promote and support maintaining a healthy work-life balance.\nSummary\nFor this role we are looking for a Tool Software Engineer to help build the Tools platform for FC Mobile. You will guide the tools development to improve the content workflow productivity and user experience enhancement. You will report to the Technical Director of the Tools Team.\nResponsibilities:\nWork with partners to deliver assigned tasks on time and maintain existing ones to support features.\n\nLook for ways to increase team efficiency through tooling, optimization of tool performance or workflow enhancements.\n\nDebug and fix issues in the tools to develop the product across a variety of domains.\n\nSupport the team through code reviews, architecture discussion and knowledge sharing.\n\nCreate clear documentation to support workflow processes on the tools you developed.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;\n\n3+ years of professional software development experience related to game operations platforms.\n\nProficient in at least one object-oriented programming language (C++ or Java preferred).\n\nProficient in cross-component system design, complex system implementation, and performance optimization.\n\nSolid expertise in computer software engineering, such as network and communication, data structure and algorithm, operation system, etc.\n\nExperience developing tools or systems for operators or game designers, good collaboration skills in working with business teams.\n\nExperience with a relational or non-relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.\n\nExperience deploying code in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, Perforce.\n\nAbout Electronic Arts\nWe’re proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations around the world, and opportunities across EA.
