We are looking for someone with an understanding of multiplayer games, anti-cheat philosophies, and who is passionate about security principles and keeping games fair.\nWhat You'll Do...\nWork with teams across EA to effectively guide the use of resources in the battle against cheaters.\nDocument and propose new internal processes or improvements.\nAssist in the planning & implementation of new security projects and processes. \nMonitor various metrics and KPIs to identify bad behaviors impacting the health of the game. \nInvestigate, document, and communicate about reported cheaters, cheats, exploits, and any other bad behavior that affects the game.\nMonitor the landscape of cheaters and cheat communities to document the latest trends and activities, as well as raising flags when needed to alert others.\nYou Will Have...\nFamiliarity of different types of cheats and how they work, particularly for FPS games.\nBasic experience with anti-cheat technologies.\nGeneral understanding of how online games work, including rendering, networking, and databases.\nExperience querying datasets with SQL.\nYou’ll Get Bonus Points if You Have...\nNative fluency in Mandarin language (reading/writing)\nBasic knowledge of the Asian streaming services and gaming eco systems\nBasic knowledge of a programming language that can be used for scripting, such as Python.\nFamiliarity with account security and account takeover activities.\nAn avid FPS gamer\nPay Transparency - North America\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\nThe ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting.
