Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.\nSoftware Engineer III - EA Enterprise Intelligence\nThe Challenge Ahead\nJoin our central engineering team to build the next-generation Lifecycle Management (LCM) Experimentation & Analytics Platformthat powers live services across 20+ world-class game studios and millions of daily active players.\nIn this role, you sit at the high-impact intersection of Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering. You will act as the primary platform bridge: taking cutting-edge statistical methodologies, experimentation designs (A/B/n testing, multi-armed bandits, variance reduction), and advanced analytics frameworks developed by our DS and DA teams, and transforming them into scalable, robust, and reusable platform services.\nIf you are an engineer who loves data, understands statistical / ML logic, and takes pride in building scalable, resilient, self-serve platform products, this is the role for you.\nYou will report to the Technical Director of Enterprise Insights Engineering.\nResponsibilities:\nYou will build configuration dashboards that empower game studio teams to launch and evaluate experiments independently.\n\nYou will develop and maintain low-latency APIs and microservices for real-time experiment assignment and player targeting at scale.\n\nYou will develop contextual analytics systems (batch and real-time processing pipelines) that inform on important metrics, detect anomalies, and forecast future results.\n\nYou will partner closely with DS, DA, and DE teams to platformize, package, and automate statistical or Machine Learning methodologies (e.g., A/B/n testing, variance reduction, causal inference, and metrics calculation).\n\nYou will standardize behavioral event schemas, configuration models, and metadata contracts across diverse game titles.\n\nYou will promote the value of the LCM platform, by providing in-depth data insights into players' engagement with content across live channels.\n\nQualifications:\nMaster's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n\n3+ years of experience in software development building data-intensive systems, distributed backend services, or platform APIs.\n\nStrong experience collaborating with Data Science, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning teams to productionize analytical models or algorithms.\n\nSolid conceptual understanding of A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and core statistical mechanisms. Experience with machine learning is required.\n\nExpertise in Python and at least one compiled language (such as Java, Go, or Scala), along with advanced SQL skills.\n\nExperience with distributed data frameworks (like Spark or Trino) and modern Lakehouse/Data Warehouse solutions (like Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift).\n\nFamiliarity with cloud services (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and pipeline workflow orchestrators (like Airflow).\n\nStrong cross-functional collaboration and communication across regions/time zones.\n\nGaming industry experience or familiarity with game telemetry data is a strong plus.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment, with strong English communication skills to participate in international meetings, collaborate with global teams, and prepare clear and professional documentation in English.\n\nAbout Electronic Arts\nWe’re proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations around the world, and opportunities across EA. We value adaptability, resilience, creativity, and curiosity. From leadership that brings out your potential, to creating space for learning and experimenting, we empower you to do great work and pursue opportunities for growth.\nWe adopt a holistic approach to our benefits programs, emphasizing physical, emotional, financial, career, and community wellness to support a balanced life. Our packages are tailored to meet local needs and may include healthcare coverage, mental well-being support, retirement savings, paid time off, family leaves, complimentary games, and more. We nurture environments where our teams can always bring their best to what they do.\nElectronic Arts is an equal opportunity employer.
