A team where everyone makes play happen.\nAmerican Football is looking for a Sr. QA Tester role on the Quality Verification Team who will work on an embedded Game Team, working together with producers, engineers, artists, and designers to test and analyze the game product. You will define and execute the test strategy for the team and champion quality for the product. This is a hybrid role, working at least 3 days a week in our Orlando office.\nTemporary Position, 12 month contract\nResponsibilities:\nYou will build working relationships with members of the development, production, and design teams to find bugs & identify opportunities to improve overall quality.\nConsider the game from a player's perspective to identify ways to improve the player experience\nGood English Language skills (written and verbal) are necessary to effectively communicate testing progress and status through verbal or written communication with appropriate managers and other team members.\nUse a Player First approach while thinking about the Quality our players receive. Be the voice of quality.\nRequired Qualifications:\nAssociate’s degree or equivalent industry experience in an embedded environment, preferably in Quality Assurance\nExperience with testing and defect tracking software, preferably Jira\nExperience writing test documentation including test cases, test plans, etc.\nExperience with different gaming platforms\nUnderstanding of white/gray/black box testing practices\nKnowledge of software development methodology and stages (milestones/sprints, Alpha, Beta)\nStrong knowledge of American Football\nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with collaboration tools, preferably Confluence, Miro, Slack, etc.\nExperience working with off site teams\nExperience working LLMs (Gemini, Chat GPT etc.)\nA desire to use innovative testing means such as automation and data\n\nAbout Electronic Arts\nWe’re proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations around the world, and opportunities across EA.
