Senior Analyst - SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Platform (SLP) Engineer

What you’ll do:

Responsible for ensuring the reliability, supportability, and continuous improvement of Eaton's SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Platform (SLP) and integrated supplier onboarding ecosystem. This role combines application support, platform configuration, integration troubleshooting, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across supplier onboarding processes. The successful candidate will possess hands-on SAP Ariba SLP experience and serve as a technical leader supporting supplier lifecycle workflows, integrations, and production operations.

• Serve as the primary operational support resource for SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Platform (SLP) and associated supplier onboarding capabilities
• Support reliability, availability, and performance of SAP Ariba SLP and integrated enterprise platforms
• Monitor system health using key service metrics and respond to incidents impacting production stability
• Execute incident, problem, and change management processes to restore service and prevent recurrence
• Troubleshoot issues across SAP Ariba SLP, SAP ERP, ServiceNow, Reltio, and other integrated enterprise systems
• Support supplier onboarding, supplier qualification, and supplier lifecycle management processes by ensuring stable and effective workflow execution
• Configure, administer, and support SAP Ariba SLP workflows, questionnaires, approvals, and supplier data management processes
• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation, workflows, monitoring solutions, and operational reporting to improve system reliability and reduce manual effort
• Participate in design, testing, deployment, and release readiness activities to ensure solutions meet operational and performance expectations
• Support production releases, regression testing, validation activities, and post-deployment stabilization efforts
• Collaborate with development, integration, business, procurement, and supplier management teams to support enhancements and resolve operational issues
• Analyze system performance and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve long-term system stability
• Contribute to backlog management for reliability improvements, defect remediation, and continuous platform optimization
• Create and maintain system documentation, runbooks, support procedures, and operational playbooks to support knowledge transfer and consistent execution
• Support secure development and operational practices aligned with enterprise governance, security, compliance, and audit requirements
• Ensure data integrity and reliable information flow across supplier onboarding processes and integrated enterprise platforms
• Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate operational improvements and enhancements supporting supplier onboarding and supplier management processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• 4-8 years of experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, or SaaS platforms
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Platform (SLP) administration, configuration, support, or implementation
• Experience supporting supplier onboarding, supplier management, procurement, or ERP-integrated business processes
• Experience troubleshooting production issues involving integrations, APIs, workflows, and master data

Skills:

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Platform (SLP)
• Understanding of supplier onboarding, supplier qualification, and supplier lifecycle management processes
• Experience supporting SAP Ariba workflows, questionnaires, approvals, and supplier data management
• Experience troubleshooting integrations between SAP Ariba and enterprise systems such as SAP ERP, ServiceNow, master data platforms, or middleware solutions
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, file-based integrations, and enterprise integration patterns

Preferred

• Experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing, Supplier Risk, or Buying and Invoicing
• Experience with SAP ERP vendor master processes
• Experience with Reltio or other master data management platforms
• Experience supporting ServiceNow-based workflows
• Comfortable with the English language (written and verbal).
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
