Supplier Quality Engineer

What you’ll do:

The supplier quality engineer will be responsbile for supplier quality management for components and raw material to ensure successful adherence with customer satisfaction, product safety and compliance requirements, and Eaton standards. He/She will be leading on supplier quality activities to support CPS product and production quality.

• Co-work with sourcing, product manager, engineering for supplier quality
• Work with supplier in new project development phase to ensure product meet Eaton specification, safety and compliance requirements
• To lead APQP activites to drive supplier's deliverables
• According to quality goals and key supplier metrics, establish process in driving supplier continual improvement
• To lead quality problem solving with supplier, ensure solid root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Perform audits, supplier maunfacturing process validation, to ensure successful launch of product in accordance with Eaton requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience in supplier quality management.
• Proficient use of quality tools such as FMEA, CP, MSA/GR&R, FAI, Cpk/SPC, PPAP
• Solid understanding of problem solving tools like 5-Why, 8D
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 requirements and auditing experience
• Familiar with mechanical parts,electronic components, or electromechanical products,including manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and supplier quality management practices.
• Familiar with UPS and related product
• Familiar with supplier quality management
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across global teams
• Build strong internal and external relationship
• Proactive and have a say from quality perspective, but also collobrative on a team
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
