If we’ve described you and your dream workplace, please apply and share in the many benefits and opportunities we offer.\nCybersecurity Engineer II\nThe Cybersecurity Engineer II performs cybersecurity engineering, integration, deployment, testing, configuration, and sustainment activities supporting customer SOC technologies.\nThe position supports the engineering and deployment of SOC tools, sensors, platforms, enclaves, and supporting capabilities, including technology research, evaluation, prototyping, integration, deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The Engineer II supports interoperability between data sources, cybersecurity tools, applications, workflows, sensors, and supporting infrastructure.\nThe Engineer II also supports detection engineering and custom SOC capability development, including development, testing, tuning, maintenance, and documentation of analytics, detections, dashboards, scripts, interfaces, automation playbooks, and related capabilities. The position validates developed capabilities prior to operational use and documents configurations, dependencies, limitations, and sustainment considerations. \nResponsibilities\nSupport cybersecurity architecture, engineering, research, evaluation, prototyping, integration, deployment, and sustainment.\nDeploy, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Government-approved SOC technologies.\nSupport technical integration and interoperability between SOC tools, platforms, sensors, applications, workflows, and data sources.\nDevelop engineering documentation, configuration information, test plans, diagrams, deployment records, and handoff documentation.\nSupport Government technical change-control activities.\nDevelop and test detections, dashboards, scripts, analytics, interfaces, automation, and custom SOC capabilities.\nTune sensors, rules, alerts, and analytics to improve detection quality and reduce false positives.\nTest and validate capabilities before operational deployment.\nSupport knowledge transfer and technical documentation for Contractor-supported capabilities.\nBasic Qualifications:\nEducation: Bachelor's degree.\nExperience: 3 years.\nEducation substitution: 3 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.\nIAT II level certification\nThe actual base salary offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant years and depth of experience, skills and qualifications, education, certifications, internal equity, and the specific requirements of the position.
