The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, scripting, automation, and networking, and will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux environments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server environments (v8v9).\nDevelop and maintain advanced automation scripts using BASH, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.\nPerform administration and O&M tasks from the command line.\nManage task automation using tools like Ansible and RHEL Satellite.\nHandle package management across geographically dispersed environments.\nConfigure and manage NFTables, Firewalld, IPTables, ISC2 BIND DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Postfix/SMTP Relay.\nAdminister Linux Server Clustering, NFSv3/NFSv4, PXE boot, and SELinux.\nSupport Mirantis Container Runtime (formerly Docker), AWS, and GitLab.\nMaintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.\nLead and mentor junior team members.\nTroubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues.\nEnsure compliance with security hardening standards (CIS, NIST SP 80053 Rev. 5, DISA STIGs).\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).\n10+ years of experience with Linux/UNIX systems and interoperability with Windows.\nCurrent Red Hat certification (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE, or RHCA).\nStrong scripting skills in BASH, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.\nExperience with Ansible, RHEL Satellite, and other automation tools.\nFamiliarity with Mirantis Container Runtime, AWS, and GitLab.\nExcellent problem solving, communication, and documentation skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nOn-call Requirement: Participation in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation\nThe actual base salary offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant years and depth of experience, skills and qualifications, education, certifications, internal equity, and the specific requirements of the position.
