The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience developing workflows, configuring forms, managing user roles and access controls, troubleshooting platform issues, conducting testing activities, and providing operational support across ServiceNow modules and environments.\nThis role requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure ServiceNow solutions that support enterprise IT service management operations.\nKey Responsibilities\nServiceNow Development & Implementation\nDesign, configure, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and related modules.\nDevelop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and catalog items.\nCreate, modify, and maintain forms, tables, views, and related configurations.\nConfigure and customize ServiceNow applications to meet business and operational requirements.\nSupport integrations between ServiceNow and external systems/applications.\nUser Access & Security Administration\nConfigure and manage ServiceNow user roles, groups, ACLs (Access Control Lists), and permissions.\nEnsure adherence to security, governance, and least-privilege access principles.\nSupport account provisioning, role-based access controls, and audit/compliance requirements.\nTroubleshooting & Operational Support\nTroubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform issues, incidents, defects, and performance concerns.\nPerform root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues.\nProvide Tier II/III support for ServiceNow-related operational issues and requests.\nMonitor platform health, scheduled jobs, integrations, and system performance.\nTesting & Quality Assurance\nDevelop and execute unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans.\nValidate functionality following upgrades, patches, and enhancements.\nSupport change management and deployment activities across development, test, and production environments.\nDocumentation & Process Improvement\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, workflows, and implementation guides.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and platform optimization efforts.\nParticipate in governance reviews, CAB meetings, and operational planning sessions.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation and administration experience.\nStrong experience developing workflows and automations within ServiceNow.\nExperience creating and modifying forms, tables, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.\nStrong understanding of ServiceNow security model including:\nUser roles\nGroups\nACLs\nRole-based access controls\nExperience troubleshooting ServiceNow platform issues and integrations.\nExperience performing testing and validation activities within ServiceNow environments.\nStrong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and best practices.\nExperience supporting production ServiceNow environments.\nPreferred Qualifications\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)\nITIL Foundation Certification\nExperience with:\nFlow Designer\nService Catalog\nCMDB\nDiscovery\nIncident/Change/Problem Management\nExperience with scripting languages such as:\nJavaScript\nGlide API\nREST/SOAP integrations\nFederal Government or enterprise operational support experience preferred.\nWork Environment\nFast-paced operational environment\nMay support after-hours maintenance windows or emergency changes as needed\nHybrid/remote support capabilities may be required\nThe actual base salary offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant years and depth of experience, skills and qualifications, education, certifications, internal equity, and the specific requirements of the position.
