If we’ve described you and your dream workplace, please apply and share in the many benefits and opportunities we offer.\nSystems Administrator - Network\nResponsibilities and Duties: \nNetwork Design and Implementation:\nDesign, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.\nConfigure and Monitor Cisco IP Phone with ISE Systems\nImplement network solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.\nEvaluate and recommend new networking technologies and solutions to improve performance and efficiency.\nNetwork Maintenance and Support:\nMonitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.\nPerform regular network maintenance tasks, including firmware updates, patch management, and hardware replacements.\nProvide technical support and expertise to resolve network-related issues and outages promptly.\nSecurity Management:\nImplement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.\nConduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.\nDevelop and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect organizational data and resources.\nNetwork Optimization:\nAnalyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.\nOptimize network configurations and implement quality of service (QoS) policies to ensure efficient data flow.\nCollaborate with other IT teams to optimize network-related aspects of applications and services.\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.\nGenerate regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and maintenance activities.\nDevelop and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network infrastructure.\n Team Leadership and Collaboration:\nMentor and provide guidance to junior network administrators and IT staff.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems administrators, developers, and security professionals, to support IT projects and initiatives.\nParticipate in planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects and upgrades.\nBasic Qualifications:\nMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in network administration, with at least 2 years as VOIP administrator.\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).\nProven experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex network environments.\nProficiency with networking technologies and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF).\nExperience with network hardware (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent.\nKnowledge of network security best practices and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs).\nFamiliarity with wireless networking technologies and management.\nStrongly desired: Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar.\nThe actual base salary offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant years and depth of experience, skills and qualifications, education, certifications, internal equity, and the specific requirements of the position.
