Together, we will continue to shape the future of technology-driven experiences.\nAbout the Role\nThe Warehouse & Facilities Specialist is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, inventory control, packaging, and shipment of company materials and equipment. This role serves as the primary point of coordination for inbound and outbound logistics, including domestic and occasional international shipments. In addition to warehouse operations, this position supports facility management by coordinating with third-party service providers and helping maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.\nDuring periods of lower shipping volume, the Warehouse & Facilities Specialist will provide support to the Fabrication Department through rack assembly, equipment staging, and other production-related activities.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and project requirements.\nAccurately record received materials and ensure proper inventory tracking within company systems.\nOrganize and maintain warehouse inventory, storage locations, and material handling processes.\nPick, package, and prepare equipment and materials for shipment to project sites, offices, and client locations.\nCoordinate freight pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight brokers, and project teams.\nObtain and evaluate shipping quotes for domestic freight, parcel, and expedited shipments.\nCoordinate vendor drop shipments and direct-to-site deliveries as required by project schedules.\nMaintain shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, and tracking records.\nAssist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and warehouse audits.\nEnsure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization standards are maintained.\nLogistics & Transportation\nCoordinate domestic shipments using parcel, LTL, FTL, and courier services.\nAssist with occasional international shipments, including coordination of commercial invoices, customs documentation, and freight forwarding requirements.\nMonitor shipment status and proactively communicate delays or issues to project teams.\nWork closely with Procurement, Project Management, and Operations teams to support project delivery schedules.\nFacilities Coordination\nServe as the primary internal coordinator for facility-related vendors and contractors.\nSchedule and coordinate routine services including:\nJanitorial services\nHVAC maintenance and repairs\nBuilding maintenance vendors\nPest control services\nSecurity system providers\nVehicle maintenance and service appointments\nWaste and recycling vendors\n\nMonitor facility conditions and identify maintenance needs.\nAssist in ensuring compliance with workplace safety policies and facility standards.\nCoordinate access for contractors and service providers performing work at company facilities.\nMaintain records of facility service schedules, inspections, and vendor contacts.\nFabrication Support\nWhen warehouse activity allows, provide support to the fabrication team, including:\nAssemble AV equipment racks and enclosures according to company standards and engineering documentation.\nInstall basic rack hardware, cable management, and equipment mounting components.\nStage equipment and materials for fabrication and project deployment.\nSupport quality control inspections of fabricated assemblies.\nAssist fabrication technicians with general production tasks as needed.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2+ years of warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or related experience.\nExperience coordinating shipments and working with freight carriers.\nBasic understanding of inventory management principles.\nValid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\nAbility to safely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Teams.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred\nExperience in the audiovisual, construction, technology, or systems integration industry.\nExperience with ERP, inventory management, or purchasing systems.\nFamiliarity with LTL/FTL freight, parcel shipping, and logistics coordination.\nBasic understanding of international shipping procedures.\nExperience with rack assembly, fabrication, or technical equipment staging.\nForklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.\nPay Range: $27 - $33 Hourly\nA day in the Life\nInclusive Team Culture\nAt Electrosonic we embrace our differences.
