If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact, we invite you to bring your expertise and energy to our team.\nWhat You’ll Do At Elekta:\nAt Elekta, we’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help drive innovation in our Radiation Therapy Treatment systems. You’ll be developing cutting-edge workflow, delivery, and imaging software for medical devices-working within a safety-critical environment where software quality is paramount and embedded into our CI/CD pipelines.\nGuided by system architecture and technical leadership, you’ll collaborate in agile teams to deliver impactful solutions that improve patient outcomes worldwide.\nResponsibilities:\nDefine, design, develop and maintain application components, services and APIs on the Elekta Domain-based service-oriented platform, hosted on containers.\n\nFull stack development from web and desktop-based UI development down to messaging and storage solutions.\n\nMaintaining and enhancing Software quality metrics including test coverage and code maintainability through code walkthroughs and attention to detail. Ensuring the code and the system is well tested and of sufficient quality for full solution testing.\n\nCreate, review and maintain tests at all levels of the V Model. Including unit, component and potentially automated and manual system tests.\n\nEnsure that all products are developed in accordance with the applicable published development process and documentation is created in line with this.\n\nContribute as needed to enhance our CI/CD pipeline and test automation environments, enabling fast and effective delivery and deployment.\n\nWorking as part of a scrum team to not only deliver your own tasks but assist others where priorities require it, or impediments exist.\n\nAwareness of the safety lifecycle. Participation in safety analysis, raising of safety issues and involvement in creation of tracible hazard mitigation.\n\nDefining and reviewing requirements, applying architectural guidance and providing input into architectural definition.\n\nLeading the technical direction of product development across teams\n\nWhat You'll Bring:\nDegree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.\n\nFull stack development using .NET platform (C#, .NET Core)\n\nFront end: Angular.\n\nObject Oriented design.\n\nKnowledge and understanding of software engineering disciplines, practices, and techniques.\n\nUnderstanding and experience of the overall SDLC for application development\n\nExperience of CI/CD\n\nUnderstanding and experience of Agile.\n\nSAFe methodologies.\n\nPrevious experience of Medical Devices (or other regulated/safety critical areas)\n\nBack end: Microservices, REST APIs, SQL, Rabbit MQ\n\nDocker, Kubernetes\n\nVMware\n\nAzure DevOps\n\nDomain Driven Design practices\n\nAsynchronous programming and event driven systems using Message queues\n\nWhat You’ll Get:\nIn this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
