For more information, visit elekta.com.\nWhat You’ll Do At Elekta\nAre you a software developer who enjoys working with C++ and wants to use your skills to make a meaningful impact?\nIn this role, you will develop software for Elekta’s linear accelerator (linac) systems and wider radiation therapy product portfolio. You will contribute to product features for systems that control our treatment devices and support the safe delivery of radiation to patients. You will work in a team that has close cooperation with our sister organization outside London.\nYou will work across the software lifecycle, developing embedded software solutions running on embedded real-time operation systems.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, test and maintain software, primarily in C++\nContribute to software design, implementation and technical documentation\nWrite unit and integration tests to support reliable, maintainable software\nParticipate in code reviews and collaborate with other software engineers\nContribute to new product features and continuous improvements\nWork in an agile team and contribute to scrum ceremonies\nWork according to Elekta’s established quality and development processes\nWhat You’ll Bring\nA master’s degree in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent\nExperience with C++ and a good understanding of software development principles\nAn interest in writing clean, safe and maintainable code\nAbility to collaborate effectively and work as part of a development team\nCuriosity and willingness to learn and develop your technical skills\nProfessional proficiency in English is required.
