If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact, we invite you to bring your expertise and energy to our team.\nWhat You’ll Do At Elekta:\nWe’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the software platform that will power all future Elekta products.\nAs part of our Enterprise Shared Component team, you’ll:\nDesign and develop containerised services in a service-oriented architecture using Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and Azure.\n\nContribute across the full stack, including distributed event-driven systems.\n\nCollaborate in a high-performing scrum team to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.\n\nMentor junior engineers and influence architectural and delivery practices.\n\nResponsibilities:\nBuild and enhance cloud and on-premises services that power Elekta’s healthcare solutions.\n\nDesign and implement APIs and microservices with a focus on scalability, compatibility, and performance.\n\nContribute to full-stack development, from modern web UIs to backend services and data solutions.\n\nImprove CI/CD pipelines and work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps to streamline delivery.\n\nApply cross-functional skills in development and test automation to ensure high-quality solutions.\n\nCollaborate, share knowledge, and drive innovation that makes a difference for healthcare professionals and patients.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent experience).\n\n5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with .NET (C#) and modern frameworks.\n\nStrong skills in building APIs and microservices (REST, gRPC) and working with databases (PostgreSQL).\n\nFrontend experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.\n\nHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar).\n\nFamiliarity with open-source tools, cloud platforms, and infrastructure automation.\n\nUnderstanding of software design patterns, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems.\n\nExperience in regulated industries (healthcare preferred), cybersecurity best practices, and observability tools desired.\n\nWhat You’ll Get:\nIn this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
