For more information, visit elekta.com.\nSoftware Engineer\nWhat you will do at Elekta\nBuild software that directly supports radiotherapy treatments and helps care teams deliver precise cancer treatment. You’ll work in a cross-functional Scrum team, developing and improving solutions ranging from GPU-based algorithms to web-based MRI visualization, primarily using C#, C++, .NET and Angular. You will contribute from design through testing and delivery, solve real-world field issues and help keep our software reliable. At senior level, you’ll also own key components and help strengthen the team through technical leadership, mentoring or specialist responsibilities.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test and integrate high-quality software for radiotherapy solutions.\nTurn requirements into maintainable code and clear technical documentation.\nInvestigate field issues, resolve defects and contribute to risk and root cause analysis.\nCollaborate in design and code reviews and continuously improve how the team works.\nAt senior level, take ownership of components or tools and mentor less experienced colleagues.\nWhat you will bring:\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a comparable field.\nAt least three years of software engineering experience, ideally in medical or another regulated environment.\nStrong hands-on experience with C# and Microsoft .NET, plus Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.\nExperience working across the development lifecycle in an Agile Scrum team.\nA quality-focused, test-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nClear English communication skills and willingness to learn Dutch.\nNice to have:\nC++, including support of legacy software, or GPU/performance-focused development.\nAngular, JavaScript, HTML or CSS and modern web development.\nASP.NET Core, microservices, REST APIs, messaging, Containerization.\nBehaviour driven testing, automated testing, design patterns, software architecture or software risk management.\nWhat you will get:\nSalary: A competitive salary, depending on your knowledge and experience.\nBonus: You will take part in the local profit-sharing plan.
