If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact, we invite you to bring your expertise and energy to our team.\nWhat You’ll Do At Elekta:\nJoin our R&D team in Crawley and help develop the software that powers Elekta's next generation radiotherapy systems. Working on both CT-LINAC and MR-LINAC platforms, you'll design, develop and test software that supports the safe and precise delivery of cancer treatment.\nYou'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through to implementation, testing and continuous improvement. Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, you'll help solve complex technical challenges and contribute to technology that makes a real difference to patient care.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain real-time control software used within Elekta's radiotherapy systems.\n\nDesign and implement robust, high-quality solutions that meet performance, safety and regulatory requirements.\n\nWork closely with software engineers, systems engineers and architects to deliver new features and enhancements.\n\nContribute to software quality through testing, code reviews and continuous improvement activities.\n\nSupport technical planning, estimation and delivery of development work.\n\nProduce and maintain technical documentation in line with development processes and industry standards.\n\nShare knowledge, contribute to problem solving and help drive a collaborative engineering culture.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\nExperience developing software for real-time or embedded systems using C/C++.\n\nA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.\n\nExperience working within an R&D or product development environment.\n\nA collaborative approach and passion for developing high-quality software.\n\nExperience in medical devices, control systems, Agile development or regulated environments is advantageous\n\nWhat You’ll Get:\nIn this role, you will work for a higher purpose; hope for everyone dealing with cancer, and for everyone regardless of where in the world, to have access to the best cancer care.
