This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on technical work, can maintain focus during repetitive tasks, and are eager to learn specialized skills in a highly regulated environment.\nSchedule & Compensation:\nEmployees must be willing to work:\nOvertime as required\nOccasional weekends\nOccasional holidays\nAlternate schedules when operational or customer requirements demand additional support\nPay rate: $21.00-$24.00 per hour DOE\nResponsibilities\nAs a Trainee, you will receive formal training and on-the-job experience in computed radiography inspection processes, including:\nAssisting with radiographic inspections of large aerospace and jet-engine airfoil components\nPositioning components and imaging plates within inspection vaults\nOperating X-ray equipment and related inspection systems in accordance with safety procedures\nScanning imaging plates and processing digital radiographic images\nReviewing images for customer-specific quality requirements\nFollowing detailed inspection procedures and documentation requirements\nMaintaining compliance with radiation safety, quality, and customer standards\nWorking closely with certified NDT personnel during training and certification\nSupporting the shipment and handling of inspected parts and related documentation\nPotentially cross-training in additional NDT methods, including penetrant testing, as business needs require\nSkills / Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nAbility to learn technical concepts and procedures quickly\nBasic computer proficiency and comfort using software-based systems\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to following procedures\nAbility to maintain concentration during repetitive work activities\nStrong work ethic and dependable attendance\nAbility to work independently after training\nPhysical requirements:\nAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the shift\nAbility to safely handle and position large aerospace components\nAbility to move throughout the lab environment frequently\nCapability to perform work requiring physical stamina and attention to detail\nCompany Overview\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
