As a member of the operations team, the Additive Manufacturing and Engineering Technician position performs a diverse range of manufacturing, engineering, heat-treatment, testing, and laboratory activities within the department and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies while developing expertise in a highly specialized field.\nSchedule & Compensation:\nMonday-Friday, first shift\n40 hours per week with flexible start/end times. Overtime available.\nCompetitive hourly compensation with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.\nResponsibilities\nOperate and support advanced manufacturing equipment, including Direct Energy Deposition (DED) systems.\nUtilize CAD and 3D printing technologies to support customer projects.\nAssist with a variety of technical and engineering support activities.\nCollaborate closely with a small, high-performing team serving Rolls-Royce aerospace programs.\nTroubleshoot, learn new processes, and contribute to innovative customer solutions.\nSkills / Qualifications\nExperience with 3D printing, CAD, machining, CNC programming, or advanced manufacturing.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work on diverse projects.\nTeam-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.\nWillingness to learn specialized technologies and grow into a subject matter expert.\nCompany Overview\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
