As Director, Strategic Initiatives, you will turn those priorities into clear plans, decisions, and measurable business outcomes.\nReporting to the SVP, Element Mobility, you will lead strategic initiatives and special projects across mobility growth areas, bringing structure to ambiguous work, aligning stakeholders, resolving blockers, and maintaining leadership visibility from concept through execution.\nThis is an individual contributor role for someone who can combine analytical judgement, executive communication, and disciplined follow-through. Your impact will show up in a stronger operating cadence, faster execution of critical initiatives, and tangible progress across work that spans functions.\nWHAT YOU WILL OWN\nOwn and advance a portfolio of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives across Element Mobility, translating strategic priorities into execution-ready plans, milestones, owners, and measurable outcomes.\nLead ambiguous special projects from initial concept through business case, operating model, alignment, and launch, using analytical judgement and cross-functional input to develop practical recommendations and action plans.\nIdentify execution risks, dependencies, and blockers early; bring the right stakeholders together to resolve issues and maintain momentum.\nBuild and run the Element Mobility management cadence, including monthly business reviews, all-hands planning, OKR planning and tracking, and leadership follow-through mechanisms.\nCreate simple reporting and dashboard mechanisms that give leaders visibility into financial performance, commercial progress, product delivery, operational performance, risks, key decisions, and expected business impact.\nPartner across Product, Technology, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk, and other functions to connect strategy to concrete initiatives, resource decisions, accountable actions, and progress tracking.\nDevelop executive-level analyses, narratives, and decision materials on products, partnerships, investments, and business opportunities, including pressure-testing assumptions, economics, execution plans, and organizational requirements.\nStrengthen cross-functional alignment by synthesizing complex topics into concise recommendations, escalating issues constructively, and helping maintain accountability for commitments.\nYOU SHOULD CONSIDER THIS ROLE IF:\nYou bring strategy and operating experience, strong judgement, and the ability to create structure and momentum in complex, fast-moving work.\nYou have strategy and operating experience in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, management consulting, or a similar execution-oriented role.\nYou have experience owning complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution.\nYou bring strong analytical, financial, written, and verbal communication skills.\nYou can operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with multiple stakeholders and incomplete information.\nYou demonstrate ownership, bias for action, structured problem solving, collaboration, sound judgement, executive communication, and comfort with ambiguity.\nPreferred experience includes fleet, mobility, technology-enabled businesses, financial services, product/platform environments, or adjacent industries; management consulting or high-growth technology experience; and experience with business cases, OKRs, dashboards, and executive materials.\nYOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL US\nHow you have taken a complex, cross-functional initiative from problem definition to execution, including how you created structure, aligned stakeholders, and kept progress moving.\nAbout an ambiguous special project where you developed a practical recommendation or business case using incomplete information and analytical judgement.\nHow you have built or improved a management cadence, OKR process, dashboard, or reporting mechanism that strengthened visibility, decision-making, and follow-through.\nHow you have identified and resolved execution risks, dependencies, or blockers across teams with different objectives or incentives.\nHow you have developed executive-level analysis or decision materials that helped leaders make informed choices about products, partnerships, investments, resources, or business opportunities.\nWHY ELEMENT\nElement Fleet Management is the world’s largest publicly traded pure-play automotive fleet manager, serving organizations across North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland. This range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the expected base salary at the time of posting. Salary ranges may vary based on the geographic location where the work is performed. The salary range listed in this posting applies only to the location identified. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the successful candidate's qualifications, knowledge, skills, experience, internal pay equity, and relevant market data. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may participate in annual incentive programs, including bonuses, commissions, or other incentive compensation, as applicable to the role.
