The lab performs cryogenic and fluids testing, nitrogen blowdown testing, thermal shock testing, and other specialized testing designed to simulate extreme aerospace environments.\nWe're open to engineers at junior through experienced levels who are curious, hands-on, and excited to grow their expertise in a highly specialized engineering environment.\nCompensation: $90,000.00-$130,000.00 salary + lab bonus target\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and support cryogenic, hydrogen, and high-pressure fluid testing systems\nPlan and execute testing involving fluid flow, pressure, thermal cycling, storage, and distribution systems\nAnalyze test results and ensure technical objectives and customer requirements are achieved\nRead and work from P&IDs, plumbing diagrams, and other technical drawings\nSupport improvements to test cells, equipment, processes, and data collection\nPartner directly with engineers, technicians, project teams, and customers\nDevelop technical reports, test documentation, and presentationsHelp maintain safe testing environments involving high-pressure and cryogenic systems\nSkills / Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline\nUnderstanding of fluid systems and the ability to work with technical drawings and engineering documentation\nStrong problem-solving skills and a hands-on engineering mindset\nAbility to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative testing environment\nExperience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is highly valuable\nPreferred:\nCryogenics or hydrogen systems\nHigh-pressure gas or fluid systems\nNitrogen testing, blowdown testing, thermal shock, or thermocycling\nAerospace, space, propulsion, or environmental testing\nP&IDs and complex plumbing/fluid systems\nPython for test automation, engineering applications, or data analysis\nMachining or other hands-on mechanical experience\nCompany Overview\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
