This is a great opportunity to develop your career within a Global TIC business.\nResponsibilities\nInterpretation of internal and client requirements\nSupervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant discipline\nOperating complex mechanical testing equipment\nMaintaining accurate and systematic records\nPerforming other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory\nPerforming general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system\nApplication of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment\nReport writing, data interpretation and analysis\nSkills / Qualifications\nEducated to a good general standard including English and Maths\nDegree level or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline\nHands-on job\nSound mechanical bias\nPrevious experience in an appropriate Engineering environment is a distinct advantage\nExperience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous\nAn understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial\nSelf motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory\nExcellent attention to detail\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nA team player attitude\nExcellent analytical and problem solving skills\nCompany Overview\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
