This role sits at the intersection of underwriting and deal execution—owning the process from submission through bind by working closely with wholesale and retail partners, our MGA platform, and internal sales teams to win business.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nUnderwrite, structure, and drive new business and renewal opportunities to close within trustee/fiduciary liability\n\nManage submissions through the full lifecycle: intake, analysis, quoting, negotiation, and binding\n\nPartner with wholesale and retail brokers to negotiate terms, remove friction, and accelerate deal flow\n\nProvide clear, actionable guidance on coverage structure, pricing strategy, and market positioning\n\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and retail partners to scale the business\n\nQualifications\n\n3–5+ years of underwriting experience in professional or private D&O liability, with exposure to trustee, fiduciary, or similar specialty lines\n\nExperience in a production underwriting, MGA, or wholesale-driven environment\n\nDemonstrated ability to move deals from submission to bind in a fast-paced setting\n\nStrong understanding of policy forms, coverage nuances, and pricing strategies\n\nCommercial mindset with strong negotiation and relationship management skills\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n\nConsistently converts opportunities into bound business at strong hit ratios\n\nReduces cycle time from submission to quote to bind\n\nBuilds a reliable pipeline through strong wholesale and retail partner relationships\n\nBecomes a key driver of revenue growth within the professional liability segment\n\nOTHER RELEVANT REMARKS:\nThis position description describes the general nature and level of work performed.
