The role will be based out of our Stockport location, however remote support and some infrequent travel to other Emissions based activities will be required from time to time.\nThe SHE Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring workstreams operate efficiently through the planning, support and implementation of company SHE programs. This position requires the candidate to develop a basic knowledge of operational activities and Element Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) programs. The position will focus on SHE functional activities, reporting directly to the Safety & Compliance SHE Manager\nResponsibilities\nSupport the implementation of Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) programmes, policies and procedures across our Stockport site and infrequent travel to other Emissions locations within the UK\nCoordinate site inspections, audits and statutory inspections.\nAssist with risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.\nMonitor operational activities and contractor compliance with safety requirements.\nSupport incident investigations and track corrective and preventative actions.\nMaintain SHE records, performance data and KPIs using company systems, including Intelex.\nCoordinate safety equipment, inspections and maintenance requirements.\nDeliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and awareness training.\nSupport SHE committee meetings, employee engagement and safety communications.\nWork with operational teams to identify risks and improve safety performance.\nSkills / Qualifications\nIdeally, 1-3 years' experience in a coordination role; previous SHE experience is advantageous but not essential.\nAn interest in developing a career in Safety, Health and Environmental management.\nGood organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence delivering training and presentations.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint.\nAbility to manage competing priorities, work under pressure and build effective relationships.\nA proactive, flexible and professional approach.\nBenefits of working at Element\n33 days annual holiday, consisting of 25 days annual holiday and 8 days public / x4 Life Assurance / Legal & General Pension scheme with total contributions up to 12% / Flexible Working / Cycle Scheme / Recommend a Friend Bonus / Perks At Work Discount Scheme / Car allowance\nFor more information on Element's BUILT division, please take a look at our e-brochure: https://indd.adobe.com/view/7032c5bd-3645-4c48-86d4-b568d53de400\nTo apply please email \nCompany Overview\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
