You will receive guidance and training while learning how to maintain quality records, support audits, investigate issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.\nResponsibilities\nQuality and compliance\nAssist with maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)\nHelp keep quality documents, records, and procedures accurate and up to date\nSupport the team in ensuring that laboratory activities follow company procedures and industry standards\nHelp monitor quality performance and identify potential issues\nLearn about product certification, accreditation, and regulatory requirements\nAudits and problem-solving\nAssist with preparing for internal and external audits\nHelp gather documents and evidence required for audits and inspections\nSupport investigations into quality issues, errors, and customer complaints\nHelp identify the causes of problems and track corrective actions\nFollow up on outstanding actions and maintain accurate records\nRaise any quality concerns with the appropriate team members\nContinuous improvement\nHelp identify ways to improve processes and reduce errors\nSupport quality checks, reviews, and improvement activities\nAssist with monitoring calibration records and laboratory equipment compliance\nHelp prepare quality reports and update performance data\nParticipate in quality meetings and training sessions\nCustomer service and teamwork\nAssist with handling customer complaints and quality-related enquiries\nHelp maintain accurate records of customer communications\nWork with laboratory staff, technical teams, and management to support quality objectives\nBuild knowledge of relevant quality standards, including ISO 9001 and other applicable standards\nSupport the Quality team with general administrative and coordination tasks\nSkills / Qualifications\nWe are looking for someone who:\nHas a degree in a relevant subject, such as Engineering, Science, or Quality Management, or equivalent experience\nHas an interest in quality assurance, compliance, or laboratory testing\nIs organised and has good attention to detail\nHas good written and verbal communication skills\nIs comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word\nCan manage tasks, meet deadlines, and keep accurate records\nEnjoys solving problems and learning new skills\nCan work independently when needed and collaborate with others\nIs willing to learn about quality standards, audits, and regulatory requirements\nPrevious experience in a quality role is helpful but not essential.
