This is a hybrid role, with in office responsibilities in Raleigh, NC.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nCore Accounting (AP, AR & GL Support)\n\nProcess financial transactions and assist with day-to-day AP/AR activities\n\nEnter vendor invoices and ensure proper coding and department allocation\n\nMaintain organized digital folders for invoices, receipts, contracts, and supporting documentation\n\nMonitor AP and AR aging reports and identify items needing follow-up Communicate with vendors regarding payments and with customers regarding billing questions\n\nSet up new vendors and support AP workflows through proper documentation Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies\n\nMonitor and code company credit card transactions, ensuring receipts and memos comply with travel and expense policies\n\nAssist with customer contract entry, revenue schedules, invoice schedules, and new client setup\n\nMonth-End Close & Reconciliations\n\nAssist with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliations Support month-end reporting and close documentation\n\nHelp maintain organized records for internal controls and audit readiness\n\nOperational & Administrative Support\n\nPerform weekly mail pickup at the Raleigh WeWork office\n\nAssist with general administrative and office-related tasks\n\nSupport process improvements, documentation updates, and ad-hoc finance projects\n\nWhat You Bring to the Team\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines\n\nA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset\n\nWillingness to learn new systems and adapt to evolving processes\n\nComfort working in a hybrid environment with onsite responsibilities in Raleigh\n\nA team player with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n\nProficient in Excel/Google Sheets\n\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy\n\nA clear communicator who collaborates well across departments\n\nBonus If You Have:\nInternship experience in an accounting or finance role.\n\n1-2 years of previous professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.\n\nFamiliarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO) or similar cloud-based accounting software.\n\nExperience in a SaaS or technology company environment.\n\nUnderstanding of basic ASC 606 revenue recognition
