This role will support a team covering one half of EMEA. This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about seeing customer success and winning for the company. We are looking for candidates with a solid background in NGS sample and library prep workflows as well as cell biology. The hired candidate will need to be physically located in the territory and be willing to travel frequently to customer sites. explore this role.\nEssential Functions and Responsibilities:\nFrequently traveling to customer sites is required\nTroubleshooting issues related to user's technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software, and instruments\nSupporting commercial team and customers in their technical applications and providing product training\nDisplaying professionalism, understanding, tact, fairness, and technical knowledge in all customer interactions\nProviding strategic and competitive feedback to marketing and product development teams, and independently leads or manages beta tests at customer sites\nWorking independently on significant and unique issues requiring collaboration with key decision-makers and senior managers across the organization which may impact future products, concepts, and technologies\nMentoring and leading a team of Field Application Scientists\nTraveling with members of the team to develop their training and troubleshooting skill sets\nLeading regional team calls to develop tactical frameworks to address the needs of the region\nAssisting sales and marketing on pre and post strategic sales activities requiring both technical depth and market knowledge\nCollaborating with other cross functional leaders to improve processes and work to scale the organization\nDelivering customer training and workshops, both in-person and remote\nUtilizing service CRM software to accurately identify and document customer opportunities\nCollaborating with internal partners to resolve customer issues and improve processes \nEducation and Experience:\nBachelors degree with 10+ years, Masters degree with 8+ years or PhD with 6+ years in NGS library construction (a combination of experience and education may be considered) \nHands-on experience with cell culture and tissue handling required\nExperience with NGS sequencing instrument and sequencing run set up along with NGS sample and library prep workflows is preferred\nMust be highly motivated and have strong problem-solving ability\nExcellent communication and strong relationship building skills\nHighly collaborative and adaptable; able to work well within multidisciplinary teams\nSkilled in nucleic acids and protein analytical methods\nExperience with single cell protocols and cell culture for multiomics workflows\nGenerate high quality and reproducible wet-lab data from established protocols\nHigh degree of comfort navigating technical project discussions\nMust be able to work independently and as a team player\nDemonstrated account management skills\nEnglish speaking and second language is preferable \nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to lift up to 20 pounds\nMust be flexible in working hours as this position may require customer
